• Learn about sport nutrition, goal setting, self-discipline, creating a positive mindset, appreciating sweat and hard work

• Introduction to Taekwondo, grappling, Judo, and self-defense.  Basic stances and movement, striking, throwing, ground work, and pattern demonstrations.  Also how to stand up for yourself, defend yourself if necessary, and how to deal with bullies.

• Students will also be exposed to martial arts gym protocol (what you say and how you think are important!), self-control exercises, physical conditioning (that's the sweat and hard work part) and have their first exposure to the tenents of taekwondo - courtesy, integrity, self-discipline, perserverance, indomitable spirit
