Ms. Hillis has been studying martial arts for 20 years, and has her third dan black belt in WTF Taekwondo.  Ms. Hillis, also a professional coach fully certified at NCCP level 3, has an extensive background in training athletes for elite competitive performance and brings that wealth of knowledge to her martial arts program.   Students study Taekwondo but also learn about nutrition, cross-training, proper strength and flexibility exercises routines, sport’s psychology, and program modification in preparation for elite performance

Marshall has been studying martial arts for over 12 years and currently holds a third degree black belt in WTF Taekwondo.  He has considerable experience in grappling and mixed martial arts, and is in charge of the competition sparring group at CMA.

lesley hillis - taekwondo and bo staff

 

Lesley has her first dan and is an excellent instructor of both children and adults.  She grew up with martial arts as a big part of her life and is dedicated to sharing that path and lifestyle with her students.

Bryan is certified first dan and teaches a special 30 and over program at CMA.  This adult program is a great starting point for adults who have no previous martial arts experience.

Andrew is certified first dan and teaches the 12 and under classes on Monday and Saturday.  He has an energetic teaching style and is very popular with his students.

Ian and Shane are the black belt Judo instructors at CMA.  Both are currently ranked #1 in their respective weight categories in competition in Ontario in 2008, and bring their fighting and competitive expertise to their programs.

Marnie luetchford - Cardio mix up and yoga

Marnie is a canfitpro certified instructor who teaches cardio mix up and yoga at CMA.  She is also actively pursuing taekwondo accreditation and brings her developing martial arts skill into her programs.  Marnie is also the first face you'll see at CMA behind the reception desk, and is your liaison with the other instructors.

rim shaloufe - Bellydancing

Rim teaches Eqyptian style Bellydancing.  This is an extremely popular program due to Rim's engaging personality and teaching style.  This is a wonderful and liberating night out for women, and a great workout too!

 

Bruce teaches yang style tai chi here at CMA.  He has been a student himself for 12 years, even travelling to China to study.  He is an easy-going and accessible teacher with a growing local following.
